New Members

We have a couple of new members. Our friend Shaun Moffit, formerly of Forsake the Flesh, Season of Sorrow, and like 100 other bands will be playing drums. Also, for the first time, we will have a bass player - Jeff Walters, who has done time in Claudia's Ashes and Dying Prayer. We are looking to book shows with the new lineup in February.

When (waning) began, we were an ambient duo. Susan and I have decided that instead of abandoning this sound completely now that (waning) has moved beyond the borders of pure ambient music, we would continue on under a new name. We present you the first offering from Venetian Veil - "Imbalancing Element, Pt. 1".

With a heavy heart, (WANING) announces the departure of our drummer Scott. Last night was our last show with him, and it was a great time. We wish him nothing but the best. California Tour In Minature

Wednesday we are starting a mini-tour. Please come out to the shows. If you are out of state, you can still tune in Thursday night at 11pm to KDVS.org to listen to our Live in Studio A session. Also, feel free to download or order our album to help fund the madness.

Her Eyes Open

We just uploaded an old track from our days as an ambient two-piece on bandcamp. It was a staple of our live set at the time. Blake recorded this one too. It's called "Her Eyes Open". New...

(WANING) Interest is home to the band (WANING). With so many different social media pages out there, we have decided collect them here and make this the main source for news about the band. We have an album out now called Always Ending. It was recorded by our friend Blake William, who also writes a blog called For Those With Staircase Vertigo. He wrote some very nice things about us there, and he's just an interesting fellow. Also you should have him master your record for you, he's good at that. Anyway, the album has six tracks, the last of which features some excellent guitar and keyboard work from our friend mA+h of the band Noisepsalm, who you can check out here.
